Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S
The Sportster S was introduced mid-2021 to kick off the new Sport family and to provide enthusiasts a Sportster® model made in the original spirit, which emphasized performance and aggressive handling. Updates for the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S include new design options, which we’ll detail in the next section. Harley-Davidson® has also improved the Revolution™ Max 1250T engine with the addition of ride-control electronics. Engine output is 121 horsepower and 94 pounds of torque. The Sportster® S also features anti-lock braking, traction control, drag-torque control and wheel-lift mitigation.
Design Options
All 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S models available through our location serving Brandon Tampa Lakeland Wesley Chapel and beyond feature a blacked-out aesthetic with some metal-look accents, which are chiefly on the wheels and exhaust. As with most Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, Vivid Black is the default color and included in the MSRP. There are also three premium options available through Tampa Bay Harley-Davidson®, which are White Sand Pearl, Gray Haze and Brilliant Billiard Blue. Gray Haze and Brilliant Billiard Blue are the new options. White Sand Pearl is a carryover from last model year, and Mineral Green Metallic has been discontinued as a design option for the time being.
Ride Characteristics
The Sportster® S is a sports bike. Although it’s a sports bike done in a way that only Harley-Davidson® can, it’s still very much a sports bike and thus differs in that sense from many of the other H-D® models. Ride characteristics include a low profile and forward rider positioning with forward foot controls. Most rider safety enhancements are included. That suite includes the features mentioned earlier but also cornering-enhanced ABS and traction control.
