Road Glide®
The Road Glide® continues to be one of the best-selling motorcycles in the Harley-Davidson® lineup, and many enthusiasts consider it the standard by which all other touring motorcycles are compared. This is a motorcycle that has been designed to perform well over long distances and for long periods at a time, and one of its defining features is its frame-mounted fairing, which is often referred to as the batwing.
Road Glide® Limited
The Road Glide® is so popular that Harley-Davidson® offers a number of variants in order to cater to various consumer niches. One of those variants is the Limited. The CVO™ Road Glide®, for instance, is a factory custom take on the standard Road Glide®, and a standard model is usually the base for a CVO™. That, however, is not the case with the CVO™ Road Glide® Limited. So, what you have here is essentially a special edition of a special edition, and it delivers just as you’d expect.
Updates for the 2022 Model Year
This is technically a new model as this is the first time that H-D® is selling a vehicle with this name, but it is in effect replacing that CVO™ Limited. On the mechanical front, the most notable change from that model is electronic linked brakes that can dynamically adjust brake force as needed, and this not an update exclusive to the 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® Limited but rather one made across the entire touring lineup. The other big change is three new design options available.
Three Amazing Designs
The three core designs available for the 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® Limited are Dante’s Fade Red, Hightail Yellow Pearl and Wicked Orange Pearl. Dante’s Fade Red is the standard option, and it pairs a dark red color schedule with a blacked-out aesthetic, including black flames. Hightail Yellow Pearl is a premium option. It has a black-and-yellow color scheme with a chrome aesthetic. Wicked Orange Pearl is the other premium option, and it pairs a hot rod orange aesthetic with chrome as well.
Riding Characteristics
As mentioned, one of the key characteristics is the batwing or frame-mounted fairing. Other notable characteristics include the upright rider position, a passenger seat with a backrest, floorboards that extend to the passenger, saddlebags, a touring pack and an infotainment system. One of the big differences between this bike and the standard model is the touring pack and passenger backrest, and a big difference between this and the regular Limited is the rider backrest and the upgraded passenger backrest.
Performance
Performance is another compelling reason to step up to the CVO™ Road Glide® Limited since this bike comes with the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 V-Twin engine, which is the most powerful engine that Harley-Davidson® offers on its touring machines. It makes 126 pound-feet of torque at 3,750 rpm.
